Barn Door

A lighting accessory made up of two or four blades that attaches to the front of a lighting instrument. Each blade is independantly adjustable, and the barn door can be rotated. Barn doors are used to control spill and shape the light coming from the instrument.

Used primarily on Fresnel lighting instruments in theater, barn doors are analagous to shutters in ERS's (or Lekos).
