dipswitch chart

A document translating DMX addresses into binary notation for the purpose of setting the address of some automated fixtures, LEDs, and smoke machines. Often there are ten switches, as follows:
Switch# Value/Use
1.................1
2.................2
3.................4
4.................8
5...............16
6...............32
7...............64
8.............128
9.............256
10...........Mode (or unused)

For example, to set a device to DMX address 247, (1+2+4+0+16+32+64+128+0+0), one would turn ON switches 1,2,3,5,6,7,8.

There are many dipswitch calculators available on the Internet, and even for PDAs and iPhones, but this author prefers a chart, such as the one attached.
