Acceptance Test Procedure(s), a construction and manufacturing industry term.
Once an installation is complete but before Final Payment to the Contractor(s) is given, ATPs are conducted to prove or demonstrate to the Owner (or his/her authorized representative), that the systems meet the operational specifications, and perform as expected. Any deviations from the specifications must be corrected, waived, or the original specifications revised.
