Ante Pro

Term used to describe horizontal ceiling lighting positions, especially in European theatres. "Ante Pro" means "Before (in front of) the Proscenium." AP#1 would be the first position downstage of the proscenium. US practices would probably call this FOH#1. Some houses use both: using AP to refer to pipes over the apron/orchestra pit, and FOH after that.
