Coroplast

Although it comes in many colors, the white and natural are most often used and backlit with LED or other color changing fixtures. A good (less expensive) substitute for frosted, milk white PlexiGlas. Available in 4'x8' sheets of varying thicknesses at most home/building centers: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Coroplas...te-Corrugated-Plastic-Sheet-CP4896S/205351385 . Has no real structural strength, so must be framed or otherwise supported.
