Four Dimmer Board - History

Four Dimmer board, also a Three dimmer board, historic refference. A short piece of 1x3 pine that is long enough to span 4 handles (or 3 handles) on a piano board. This allows the operator to raise or lower the intensity of those dimmers independant of the other dimmers for cross fades or split fades. There is no need for a two dimmer board, the operator's hand span is sufficient, there is no 5 dimmer board as it cannot be controlled smoothly and takes a conciderable force to move 5 dimmers at once.
