Hanging Irons

An L-shaped bracket used when suspending striplight-type fixtures from a batten or pipe. One is required at each end of the fixture, thus they always come in pairs.

If the fixture is floor-mounted, trunnions are used instead. Sometimes the trunnions can accept a C-clamp, making them do double-duty.

Not to be confused with hanger iron.
