Hinge, loose-pin

A hinge that is designed to have its retaining pin easily removed, usually this is accomplished by having a 90º bend in the top of the pin so that it may be quickly removed. Loose-pin hinges are commonly used for joining scenery that need to be taken apart and put together with accuracy and speed, but this is only one of many good uses.
