Marley

Marley floor, sometimes called a "ballet floor". Just like LEKO and gel, true Marley brand does not exist any more, and has become a generic term for any vinyl performance floor. Current manufacturers include Rosco Floor, Harlequin, Matlay by Alva's and StageStep. Many dance companies carry their own in 50' long by 5'-3" to 6'-0" wide rolls, on a dance floor cart that can weigh up to 800 lbs. There are a few companies that rent marley to venues and dance companies.
