Microplex Printable version

A proprietary communication protocol made by NSI (owned by Leviton) although occasionally used on equipment from other companies, notably Leprecon and Lightronics, but with a different name for the protocol. Micro-plex is a non-compatible alternative to the DMX-512 communication standard. Micro-plex systems are made up of short runs of three pin XLR "mic" cable and can support up to 128 channels.
