http://www.le-us.com/borderlights.html , see also zip strip. In the mid-1980s, Strand Century offered a similar fixture called the Fisher Strip, a credit to lighting designer Jules Fisher. The luminaire was created to light the many backdrops in tight spaces for the touring productions of La Cage Aux Folles.

An even smaller version is available, the Nano-Strip™, using MR-11 lamps. (I so want an even smaller MR lamp, so there can be a Nano-Nano strip.)
