Orchestra cloud

A series of acoustically reflective, often fiberglass, panels which hang, at an angle over the top of an Orchestra. Usually rigged on either two seperate battens or on special mounts, the Orchestra Cloud can be angled to better direct sound, which would otherwise be lost on the grid, out to the audience. Usually used in conjunction with an Orchestra Shell. Orchestra Clouds usually contain some provision for top lighting, often provided by permanently attached Source Four PARNels.
