1. Video. Phase Alternating Line is the format that all Televisions, Projectors, DVD Players, Gaming Consoles, VCR Players/Recorders use in the following countries:
Australia
Germany
New Zealand
United Kingdom (UK)
And many more.

PAL broadcast is soon to be (if not already) abandoned in these countries as Digital Television is becoming standardised.

The alternative to PAL used in many other countries is NTSC.

2. Lighting. Profile Automated Luminaire. A moving mirror fixture by Martin, made in the 1990s. One of the first moving lights to have framing shutters.

3. Production Arts Lighting. A well known New York lighting rental and systems integration company of the 1980's and 1990's. Became part of PRG in 1998.
