Plenum Printable version

The space between a real ceiling and a dropped ceiling, often used as a place for heating and air conditioning ducts. This also may be a space below a floor. Many times, cables will be run in this space. However, local building codes will determine the types of cable that may be in the plenum space. See Plenum Cable.
