RWL

The Recommended Working Load (RWL) is a limit given by a manufacturer or installer of a rigging system or component that describes the maximum load limit that an end-user should ever apply to it in when it is in "like new" condition.

Commonly this rating is giving in a unit of weight, but in circumstances with dynamic loads such as rock climbing, this rating may be given as a unit of force.

RWL is synonymous with SWL and WLL.
