Rem Dim

Abbrev. for "Remainder Dim." Used during focus or when setting levels, [ch] (or [Grp]) # [@] [%] [Rem Dim] forces all other non-zero channels to a level of zero. Depending on the console, often another press of [Rem Dim] reverses the action. Some consoles call this feature "Solo". "Highlight" and "Lowlight" are similar, yet different, modern features.

The feature first appeared in a software update of the original Strand Century Light Palette around 1981. It was either v5x or v6x. I'm almost positive it was not in v4J.
