Strong followspots

Today known as Strong Entertainment Lighting, a manufacturer of Follow Spotlights for live entertainment since 1948, and film projector lamphouses since 1926. Introduced in 1956, the Super Trouper® model became the industry standard of long-throw, high-intensity followspots, and still today is requested by name in the riders of major artists. The original carbon-arc source has been superseded by the Xenon lamp. Strong's newest fixture is the Radiance®, using an 850 W. eMarc Metal Halide light source.
