Walking Foot

A description for any sewing machine on which the presser foot reciprocates in sync with the feed dogs. Walking foot machines are prefered when stiching very thick fabrics together, such as installing Jute webbing to the top of a curtain, as they tend not cause the two fabrics to creep.
