1. In terms of stage rigging, dividing of a single point of attachment into two or more, either to more evenly distribute the load or to get the point in the exact location required.

2. Part of an equestrian harness.

Note: "bridal" involves a wedding.

I rigged a bridal for the bridle show, but the lace couldn't support as much weight as the leather.
