Also, a clicker can be a wireless control that the speaker uses on their own. Basic ones have a right click button only (to advance PowerPoint) but more advanced ones also have a left-click button, arrow keys, mouse button, laser pointer, and blackout key. These are connected to a computer using a USB Wireless Receiver, most of which look like a USB Flash Drive.
