Method of changing color of a spotlight's beam. May be sub-divided into one-, two- or three-string scrollers. A string is a series of colors taped together.
One-string scrollers: Apollo SmartColor, Wybron ColoRamII.
Two-string scrollers: Wybron CXI, Apollo MXR.
Three-string scrollers: Morpheus ColorFader3.
