Enclosure containing thirty-six or more dimmers, most often 48 or 96 dimmers. Dimmers of 1.2kw or 2.4kw are often in dual modules, thus a 48 module rack often contains 96 dimmers. Portable versions, aka, "road racks" or "touring racks," have casters, and are engineered to take the abuses of transport. Install racks are floor mounted, and do not have extra features such as inter-patch and convenience outlets.
