lineset

Also written as "line set," a complete assembly of equipment for the purpose of raising or lowering of scenery or lighting fixtures in a vertical plane, in either a "hemp and sandbag" or counterweight fly system. Includes batten, lift lines, loft blocks, head block, arbor, purchase line, floor block, and rope lock. For definitions of all of the above, see Counterweight Fly System Rigging, sub-glossaries.

The "opposite" of lineset would be spot line.
