1. Job assignment associated with load-in / load-out of touring productions. Short for car-loader. Depending on the venue, a member of IATSE, the Teamsters union, or non-union affiliated. Usually a four-hour minimum position, but sometimes paid per truck, depending on the contract. Loaders do no work outside the truck.

2. A person who loads/unloads pig weight onto/from arbors at the loading bridge (loading rail).
