No Color

Lighting. Term used meaning nothing at all in the colorframe of a fixture. Often abbreviated NC, N/C, or OW (for Open White) on plots and lighting paperwork, as leaving that field blank might indicate the decision is yet to be made, or the designer erred in not specifying.

2. Adj., as in "No Color Pink," "No Color Blue," etc., meaning pale or unsaturated.
