A circular saw mounted in adjustable tubes. It is used to cut plywood, or other sheet goods, on a vertical stand by a single person. For crosscuts (48"), the saw slides vertically across the goods; for ripcuts (96"), the saw stays stationary and the stock is pushed horizontally through it.
Pros: Very safe, easy to achieve straight accurate cuts. Cons: takes up 16' of wall space, won't do angled cuts.
