tech table

Sometimes also called a "Director's table" or "Designer's) table," a temporary horizontal surface placed during rehearsals in the center of the auditorium, usually in or near the house seats. Most often used by the Lighting Design team for their plots, scripts, charts, monitors, MacBookPro s, abandoned coffee cups, and other accouterments.
