Often confused with the term "Density", Viscosity, for Scenic purposes is a term referring to the rate-of-flow of a liquid. Many paint spray guns, and many paints have "suggested viscosity levels for application". The viscosity of a liquid is determined using a Viscosity Cup. One fills the cup then tracks how long it takes for the liquid to run out of the hole on the bottom of the cup.
