Visualization Software, aka "pre-viz." Any of a number of software/hardware solutions enabling a Lighting Designer to pre-program a show and/or create near-photo realistic renderings. The leading choices are WYSIWYG, ESP Vision, and Capture. Some consoles have the visualizer built-in. ETC's Emphasis for Express(ion), now discontinued, used a version of WYSIWYG. MA Lighting's grandMA uses grandMA 3D. The Martin Maxxyz uses Martin Show Designer.
