looking for a good electrician's work glove

I'm a huge fan of the IronClad Box Handlers. They have awesome grip, and if you size them right you really don't lose too much dexterity. They are great for carrying, and work well for focus too.

    Venue Technical Specs Packet

More things to consider:What's the difference between an authorized and approved person? How does someone get that authorization/approval?Since goods are dead hung, where are they hung? What are those distances from plasterline? What paint is the deck painted with, in case touchups are...

Why won't it light? Troubleshooting conventionals

Unsure on U + V, but G sounds a lot like GAMChek, and I'd put money on M being multimeter or mag.

How would you handle this situation?

Well, per the way the original post read, adding seats shouldn't have been an issue. But, if it is, you just can't seat the last 25. Refund their tickets, and offer comps to the next performance (of that show, of the next thing that's interesting at the venue). Always get the problem out of...

How would you handle this situation?

Add folding chairs for the 25 that didn't get seated, and offer them refunds if they desire. Don't unseat people that are already seated, and don't go running around trying to find people with the wrong time on their ticket. Resolve the situation as quickly and happily as possible, let the...

    ETC Ion Programming Funky-ness

I cannot say how many times I've accidentally put a chunk of channels at something between 1 and 4% by accidentally hitting the level wheel while programming...

    Play Selection... some restrictions...

If you have people who can fill the necessary roles, Bud, not Buddy and Esperanza Rising are both great TYA shows!

Crestron touch panel for theatrical sound

I agree, a DSP with a few base settings as well as a "performance" mode probably seems like the smartest idea. The switchover to your performance console wouldn't require any patching, and you wouldn't have to try and control it through an iPad...

    Marley Dance Floor cart advice

To continue with mopping hints, use as hot of water as possible, and when mopping in a figure 8 motion, put your dominant hand on the top of the mop handle, and your other hand in the middle. It will feel weird at first, but it's the best way.

    Interchangeability of terms

Unfortunately, this doesn't always help out. See the Act Curtain vs. Main rag pages. It's noted that there is a minor difference, but I still have no idea what it is.

DMX Controlled Red Alert for Server Room

Your best bet would likely be a computer with an ENTTEC dongle and some in-house programming. Someone around probably knows some programming, you just need a little daemon to listen for SNMP traps and shoot off some DMX and something to a PLC when you hit a threshold.

CK Colorblast 12 powercore without data enabler

I think it'd be fine even if they were selling them, as long as they were engineered safely/properly (cleanroom, UL listed, etc...). It'd be just like the power and data supplies that DFD sells for the non-powercore ColorBlasts.

    Dimmer rack output panel

My honest guess has already been thrown out, and those red switches certainly look like circuit breakers, but I'd like to throw out the possibility they are also three-way "patching" switches like on a Junior 8. Thrown up, the circuit is full on, on the middle pole the circuit is on the dimmer...
