I have a local brand up here in Canada, but can say that my custom plugs @ 20dB were one of the best purchases I made. The attenuation cartridge is changeable, so I can put in 30dB, 5dB or 15dB filters if I want to change at any point!
avkid - I agree, it appears that V5 should infact be 5v... a bias just means that there is active 5 volts on that pin, possibly used in some mics that have an active pickup. The 2.2kohm is just a small 1/8 watt resistor that is internal (inside) the connector
It is very possible that either your stepper motor, or motor driver is blown... unless you have a stepper motor tester board, or can program one with an H-bridge or two its gonna be sort of hard to test...You can put a scope on the output of the motor driver to see if you are atleast getting...
If you have two gensets - why do you need to run so far?
Assuming you are running 120v at a distance of 250' and draw of 33 amps, you are looking at a voltage drop of 12.90 volts. If you arent running anythign close to the gen you can always increase the output voltage by dialing it up. If...
Google will turn up tons of opensource / open designs one of which is usbdmx.com : The bus powered usb dmx interface : Home Page... they are all readily available. If you are a programmer you can use the sunlite developers version and program your own files... this is the company Martin used...
I'd have to say the biggest I have seen in my market and world wide for rentals asset tracking and show management software is intellievent - Intelligent Event Management Software ... Personally IMO I feel barcodes are dying slowly and isnt worth the investment at this point in time...
To the best of my knowledge optos dont actually boost a signal - especially not to every unit. An opto is simply a bank of differential (rs485) outputs which have been optically isolated from one and other. This means if one chain shorts out or has bad reflections due to non-spec characteristic...
Everyone has discussed great points, but I feel somethings have been missed.
Yes audio and video wires run at a different impedance (Z) which can cause reflections and some loss. The BIGGEST thing to remember here is that all coax is a Faraday's cage (regardless of termination). This means...
TimmyP1955 has it right with the idea of the cap for ON/OFF noise in particular.Arclight is the only person who sort of identified the problem; induction... although not in the right way. Most likely this noise is only heard when turning the fan OFF. One property of inductors is reverse...
