I'm sure they help some with shaping, I never saw them on by themselves so it would be hard for me to judge how much they help with that. I think that having the parcan nose helped most with masking so the source of the strobes wasn't as visible.

Click to expand... He runs a shop, a LD has spec'd this for him to source, come to think of it I think I remember them in the Wicked Touring Rig, I should go look.
