Somewhat vague nomenclature used to identify a section of prime seats in a proscenium theatre or opera house. Usually defined as the first few rows of the first balcony, but can mean anything as defined by the venue. The term is much more prevalent in Europe than in the US.

London's Novello(formerly Strand) Theatre:
