ETC Element and Chroma Q Color Force

I've hit a wall and my brain seems to no longer want to function. I've got an ETC Element and just picked up some Chroma Q Compact Color Force fixtures with a Color Force Compact PSU 15. I set the PSU to Single and RGBI so I can control each of the fixtures individually.

I'm trying to patch the lights in the element to get the all the controls and color selector wheel, but I can't get it to work. Which fixture profile do I need to choose? Or do I need to choose the PSU? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but nothing I do seems to work.

I'm not fluent in Color Force, but the Element is pretty familiar. Step one is to make sure you have the current fixture library. That's most easily done buy upgrading the console software. I believe 2.2 is current. You can also download just the library. www.etcconnect.com

I thought the Color Force Compact PSU lists the mode number when you set it. If it does have you tried patching them in the console with the mode the PSU is set at?

Mode 5 is individual RGBI control for the compacts;

Page 27 outlines the DMX parameters for this mode.

For individual control, I'd recommend mode 4 (RGBA single) as it will give you more control over your color mixing without using any extra parameters. Most modern consoles give you a virtual intensity already and include a generic fixture library for an RGBA fixture.
