I'm trying out the grandMA2 OnPC and started trying out the bitmap engine with a matrix of LEDs. I was able to get some bitmap images working with it fairly well.
I'd like to be able to just type some text to be displayed and scrolled across the LED matrix, but I don't see how to do that.
I suppose I could create an image with text I want on my PC and then import and use that image. But in some documentation about the features of the grandMA2 software it says: "Text entries may directly be converted into bitmaps within the console and stored on a bitmap effect." So I'd much prefer to do that.
Does anyone know how, on the grandMA2, to directly type in some text to be used as bitmap for an LED matrix?
