I have been around controlbooth.com once and a while and have finally registered as a member. While I am a Lighting Designer in the Washington, DC area. I have been in the entertainment industry for over 15 years and designing for just as many. I am also a freelance writer.

Recently I started a new entertainment lighting review blog called, isquint.net. I started it a couple months before LDI and have posted about new lighting products in the market as well as reviews of those new products.

Welcome isquint, we squint too before focus and intensity levels are balanced. It sounds as though you may already be up to speed with the SEARCH function and general layout of the CB. Please allow us to learn from your past experiences (good or bad) within the theater.

Again, welcome to the group. Glad you could come!

* Nice blog, by the way-

Thanks for the warm welcome. I do plan to contribute as much as I can as controlbooth has a wide range of members at various degree's in their professional career. Over the coming days and weeks I plan to become more active within this community and hope to share my experiences and tribulations.

On a personal note Kelite, I noticed you work for Apollo Design, (fantastic company!) I wanted to let you know that the Design Competition was written up over on isquint.net. I'll provide the link below. If possible, I would love to speak with you directly about other products Apollo offers. Please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected].

Here is the Link Back to the write up for Apollo.
