    Right channel gone!

This, to me, indicates a much deeper problem.

    Mixers/Consoles Cadac J/F Type

It's definitely analog and capable of a metric assload of automation.

    Which one to choose?

Another vote for not wasting your money. Invest what you were planning to spend on this into a quality wired handheld or two. (Audix OM series for this application would be good.) As Mr. Ladue says, living in a Behringer world is worth any one's time. The other company, I've never even heard of.

Do you know what it means to have a gel go Bonanza?

Never heard that before, but it's flacking brilliant. I'm only 18, but my gramps was a big western fan and I used to sit and watch reruns with him for hours.

What Do You Use To Tune the PA With?

Depends entirely on the show. Theatre and any situations where perfect tonality is important: Theme from Apollo 13. 3 piece band: Rush, Chevelle, RHCP, Godsmack, Dependant on situation 4+ piece bands: Pink Floyd, Eagles, Atreyu, Metallica Battle of the cookie monsters: Slayer, or some other...

    Piano Miking

There's a million ways to mic a piano. I've seen PZMs, C451s, MD421s, SM57s, Beta98s and million other flavors. It depends on the genre and the effect you're wanting to achieve. Either way, Ian's buddy Jack can probably help ya out.

    Dirty problems please help

Did I say that anywhere? Take a look at the RAMSA 840, XL3, or PM4k, 10-15 years old and still in use and on riders. I have never seen Mackie or Behringer on a rider, not even specing an older Mackie. Maybe there's a reason for that?It also burns up almost as many rack spaces as a Macrotech...

    Dirty problems please help

Gear that is almost ten years old might as well have been made in China. Add bad shielding and poorly laid out circuits, and you have the perfect candidate to record a podcast in your mom's basement through an on-board AC97 card.

    Dirty problems please help

Personally, I don't consider Mackie products part of the pro audio spectrum. The phenomena you're experiencing is called crosstalk. There's not much you can do about it given it's an electrical problem. Keeping the cover on the board won't make any difference, other than prolonging pot and fader...

Wed. is my first sound job

http://sft.sourceforge.net has a very friendly little program to learn your frequencies. It's essential knowledge if you're going to be doing audio, especially if you're doing monitors.

    Sennheiser e900's

I like the 222s. They're easy to get screaming in a hurry. That **** RAMSA was making my life hard though. For some reason, it liked to drop mixes. Needs some TLC or something. We took our proprietary boxes out to that rodeo though. That would have been a miserable time setting up VERTEC. Set up...
