quick fix...I-Bolt to something sturdy then tie your lines off on the I-Bolt...its probably still a big liability but that would make me feel safer in those conditions...
thanks...the problem with my system was in the 96 out response unit..which i suspected but ETC would not talk to me about it...i got the problem fixed now...thanks for the input i really appreciate it!!
you should laugh and walk away from the price of $1200 for a used microvison fx...its a decent board for its time...we use 2 as back ups for our etc express...but they are outdated...it really depends on the condition of the board...and what comes with the board...
I would definatly recommend the ETC express console...easy to use and can perform really well...like the other members said make sure that your dimmers are using the DMX cable units...
i can answer ur question about the response unit...i too have a very old system...its so old that when we have to repair our dimmers that there is only 1 person in our state that i know of that is qualified enough to repair them...we have an analogue 48 7k dimmer system hooked up to an ETC 96...
