I was also kinda aking what you guys use? I appreciate the advice and offers for help, and I can do my own research when I get to that point. I would like some examples of a typical, professional setup if that wouldn't be too hard. Maybe just name what equipment you have.

The more I read about what you guys all have, like racks of 5 amps, I'm wondering how messed up my schools system is. We have an old behringer board, 2 comps. eq, computer now in back. 10 Wireless mics none of us really know how to work except turn on.(im learning now in case something breaks)...

Someone told me they had heard of a projector that you can put at an angle, almost parallel with the screen, and it would the image would show still in a normal way, like a rectangle. I don't know much about projectors, but would this be a special lens or a whole projector that could do this...

Yea. I will just use it on two channels for now, and if I ever need more, compressors aren't that expensive proportionally. Thanks for your help guys!

Thats basically all i needed to hear. We didn't get a compressor until last year, so even two channels with it is better than the past. I dont mind just switching the inserts into a different channel either every time someone new comes on. I might just do that, but i'll test out some subgroup...

We only have one good compressor in my setup. Is there any way to hook up more than two channels of audio to it? right now we just use inserts like everyone else, but is there any way to use an aux send or busses or something to maybe get more channels out of it? I guess it doesnt really make...

Sorry, I forgot to elaborate. There is a balcony in between the two booths, with the lighting booth a floor above the back of the balcony and accessed via a stairwell outside of the theater. We could run a cable up the wall of the auditorium, but I know the school wouldn't like that. As for ADA...
