Martin Lighting MAC 2000 Profile II

If memory serves me correct these run off of 220v. If only supply 120 v from normal Edison outlets within a school they will not work correctly.

Another attack in a theatre - Keeps happening again. Can we do anything?

Well I am glad the auto filter is there or I wouldn't be able to lurk during the day. Sometimes working for a school system stinks,

    Wrong size pipe problems

Not advisable to home make anything. The most likely reason pipes are wrong size is because plumbing is sized off of Inside Diameter, therefor when you want a 2" OD you order 1 1/2" ID.

Be careful with capacitors that could be holding a charge.

    "Theatre Systems Incorporated"

I don't have any info on the console but in early 2000 installed a bunch of DMX to analog converters so that non-working control surfaces could be replaced with DMX capable boards, required a ton of soldering 25 d-sub connector. Much easier now with products like what Doug Fleenor designs have...

    Verify my math on this...

Yellow and black male / female connector are true1. Female on cable plugs into male input of fixture, and vice versa for output. Good thing about true1 is they can easily be used like exstension cables.

    Verify my math on this...

There are 2 types of powercon, at fixture the blue is input and white is output. Just match them up. Making terminations with those loose connector is pretty simple. L is +hot, N is -cold and ground is ground

    High End Technospot Lamping Off

Have not experienced this in moving head fixture, but it commonly happens in wall packs for outdoor lighting. Replace ballast and you should be good to go.

    Verify my math on this...

Your math is correct but an easier way that builds in a safety factor is to use 100 for voltage. ie 20 amp at 100 v = 2000 watts, 575 watt lamp at 100 v = 5.75 amps rounded to 6 amps for easier quicker load calculations

Non-moving head fixtures with a gobo wheel???

I know that some LED fixture have space to install Gobo Rotator ie: ovations, but do not know of any that are actual litho wheels like ML's.

Control/Dimming CD80 from (I think) the 90s, needing some help programming. Possibly DMX help.

Ok my suggestion is plug a DMX controller into that jack and see if it will do anything. The jack on front of supervisor is not DMX but manuals online sy they are DMX compatible dimming systems.
