    uh yeah..but when you ask marinco about them, they ask "what's the part number?" and when you say "its t-r-i-x-f-e-r" they say "that's not a part number that's a product line." and then its like a dead end... ...but the post from sept. last helps a lot though.

    Funny thing is (or unfunny, depending on how you look at it), you can totally dim self-ballasted CFLs with an autotransformer. I'm doing it right now. Looks horrible, 0% to 30% is totally black, but you totally can. Actually you can "dim" any ballasted fixture (HMI, LEDs, flos, rainlights, ACLs...

    Used Expresses are still selling (I'm selling ours here; used prices are still higher than that of a new smartfade ML) but ETC is ony supporting the series until they run out of parts, which could be as little as one year out.     Hey clay -- we always recommend the new smartfade consoles for high schools, mainly because of the price (under 2 grand) and the ease of use (the online tutorial on ETC's website is much more affordable (free!) than some other vendor's tech). they are amazing and completely unintimidating...
