    Half Peak Angle definition

Basic question that google search didn't turn up many results - what exactly is half peak angle? I am familiar with beam angle and field angle. The reason I ask is I just bought the Arri S60c light intensifier panel and understand it reflects the light a certain direction, but don't understand...

    Using 208v with rogue LEDs

Basically I should have never asked this question if this is where the post ended up...Jk! But this answers all my questions. Thanks everyone!@TJCornish The idea of implementing L14-20 is a great idea. Our PD has a handful of L14-30 outs. I have seen many mass produced L14-30P to dual 5-20R...

    Using 208v with rogue LEDs

Thanks for the input all. I very well understand the importance of load balancing your legs on 3 phase. I am the guy at every show with the clamp meter balancing loads just because I think its fun... And good practice. But I also agree LED's on the small rigs discussed here is a drop in the...

    Using 208v with rogue LEDs

I own R2 washes, R2 spots, RH1 hybrids, and ovation 160ww fixtures. I have always run them on 110v but planning to begin powering them on 208v 3ph or occasional 220v single phase. I understand the power supplies are auto self switching. However do I need to install a different fuse in the...

Hello everyone, it has been a while! Does anyone know if/when version 1.5 is coming out? Or does version 1.4.5 actually contain this feature? Thanks!

    Cyberlight Scanner running 220 volts

Yes, and the theater seats about a thousand so it is a pretty big room. Are you saying it gives off a lot of heat?

Putting effects on faders on an ETC ION

Does anyone know if it's possible to put an effect onto a fader on an ETC Ion? I found a shortcut to doing it by making separate cue lists then putting one cue with that effect on the cue and then assign it to a fader by hitting both bump buttons at the same time. It just doesn't seem to work...

    Cyberlight Scanner running 220 volts

OK, Thanks. Would it be worth wiring a 220 volt line for this light? It has been broken for a while and it works now and it would be our only moving light in the room. Thanks for the quick reply!

    Cyberlight Scanner running 220 volts

I have a cyberlight scanner that is made to run at 220 volts. Is there anyway to convert 120 volts up to 220 volts? Of modify the light? Otherwise it is useless because we don't have any 220 power running in the theater. Thanks for the help!

Conventional Fixtures 28V 250 Watt PAR lights?

I took some pars home from my youth room the other day and the bulbs in them are 28 volt 250 watts. Those lights are actually made for aircraft landing gear. I hooked one straight up to 120 volts and it popped, another to 12 volt car power supply and it worked any idea why these bulbs would be...

How do you record a light show to a song?

Ok, that makes since, I just thought that their would be an easier and mroe fun way to do it. I am not sure if this relates to this, and I don't want to get off topic with this, but can you do this same process to make a looping light effect that is neverending(I think it is called a chase)? Thanks.

Conventional Fixtures Lycian 1209HP Won't Strike.. Help!

You can test the bulb by getting a volt meter and switching it to the Ohms meter part, then touch the terminals of the bulb to each probe thing. If the ohms stay the same, the bulb is dead. If it goes down to 0 (having no resitance) it is still good. Someone correct me if I have this wrong or...
