Looking into picking up some LED Fixtures

My boss wants the full dimmer per circuit. I find it to be not necessary due to the LEDs freeing up a lot of our inventory and dimmers. We have 21 old style 7.2k dimmers and 15 etc dimmers in D20 modules feeding our pig tail patch. The rest of our 33 dimmers and 12 dimmer Sensor rack are hot...

Looking into picking up some LED Fixtures

I was given a budget to write up a proposal to purchase LED fixtures, buy a new console, and change our house over to dimmer per circuit. I know the dimmer per circuit for 216~ circuits will take up the bulk of my budget. (We had our place spec'd out a few years back for this same thing but it...

    Corroded Par64 Socket

The sockets have become loose over time for a few of my par cans, and a few more don't even make contact to the lamp. The pars were usually used for down lighting and sides. The sockets here on hand don't have the metal backing. I'll contact my supplier for the better type if these don't last a...

    Corroded Par64 Socket

Should I dispose of the lamp that was in use with the socket when i change out the socket? I do this for my FLKs and HPLs, but was unsure for my par64s.

    Conventional Fixtures Tip Colors

for my dance plot, my high sides all have break-ups in them too. I use R4930. It's a lavender, and I find the white look it gives is great. I use it all the time.

    Generator question

I'm not sure if this against terms of service, I was wondering for informational purposes. I was working on a job with a generator like this Multiquip Ultra Silent diesel generator model DCA-25USI2C (I had nothing to do with its settings)The 25kVA generator was running in 3 phase 120V/208V...

    Express patching

The control module on your dimmer rack's address could be setup to start at 33 as well, if anyone happened to tamper with your dimmers.

    New Ladder Recommendations for Focusing

I actually do enjoy the wooden A-Frame for some reason. The scissor lift that we do have is too heavy to use on our stage all the time, and there are so many bad areas to drive on. I'll drop the word in to the theater manager to see what we can do about a genie.

    New Ladder Recommendations for Focusing

Thank you for the recommendation. We have scaffolding but our false proscenium makes it incredibly difficult to move out onto our apron and be at an acceptable working height. Only issue i could see with with the genie is how much weight is on our apron which is a series of plugs over our...

    New Ladder Recommendations for Focusing

I wasn't positive if this was better off for the facility forum or not. I am looking to replace my current wooden A-frame ladder with extension. My working height is about 17'-22' and I'm unsure on what is preferred for new ladders. Also are all dollies made custom for their ladder or are there...

Troubles with our House Camera System

We have our main source, which is the stage camera, and that splits to 3 main areas through Coax runs Booth/Backstage/Lobby. Lobby has its own switcher for RCA for a dvd player/laptop/stage camera. The booth has its own RCA switcher with cable/stage camera. Backstage only has the stage camera...
