know where everyone is. you wouldn't want to hit someone on the head with a 300lb pole. when rigging, know how much you can handle. and my advice is to wear gloves. be careful in wood rooms. wear good shoes

two worst: 1) this one isn't bad just weird to think about. i was rigging and there was a plastic clasp on the rope (i dont' know why) and i grabbed it and it went deep into my palm. it hurt to pull it out 2) i was holding a reporicating saw and i accidently pushed it and cut my leg. it wasnt...

we have a stage manager and a assitant stage manager. the SM calls the show from the lighting booth. and the the ASM is backstage in charge of both sides but is mainly in charge of one. and then does anything that needs to be done during the show.
