i would recommend any strand boards... i have found them to be really good

Go and get replacement edison plugs and then get replacement twist lock plugs and an extention chord. cut the extention chord into 1.5 foot long peices. then wire on one end the edison replacement plug and on the other the twist lock.... there you go your custom adaptor... make sure before using...

Just what ever you do dont replace it with a .22 bullet... there pretty much the same size.. i say this because i have heard stories that if the surge happens again the bullet will shoot... probably causing injury

make sure that if you use many different Gobos that you use the same style and the same view. like the difference between a spooky forest gobo and like a park setting Gobo, make sure they are the smae theme. mixing them gives you an unnatural look.

any color that looks good.... something dark will look like instead of being a spot its a positioned light and too light of a color will give the actor a ghost like look... try some out and pick what works best, i know that in our spot lights we have two ambers(so you can adjust the darkness)...

use a amber color... it gives it a good light but will not make the performers look like ghosts

listen to music... bring in a mp3 or cd player and just listen to is during the show

there are 500 channles and you can patch up to 3 per channel but there are anloy about 180 dimmer plugs, we have a little more the 200 lights

What kind of concert is it? ROck Band? school proformance?

I work at a theatre with a strand lighting system and i was wondering what i could do to make band preformances better and more like a live band concert then a school event? I don't have much of a budget, so buying expensive stuff is out. But im open to ideas. mark
