My new job is at an old building and this is my lighting control unit. It is a Kliegl Bros Type SD-SP. Is it safe? It uses the triangular stage plug which is not the safest connector.
Thats it!!! Looks like I should get them replaced. I read where someone called them suicide plugs. Not a good thing to have in a school. Any idea how expensive they will be to replace (ballpark)? We have at least five boxes of three plugs along the back wall of the stage. Thanks!
I just moved to another school. This school was built in the late 60's or 70's. It has a big stage :) but there is a type of lighting connector that I am unfamiliar with :(. I used the standard stage pin before but this is different. It looks like a triangular..ish hole. Any ideas???Thanks!
I am looking to purchase lighting for my elementary school stage. I am looking at using LED 64 PAR but I don't know if it will work for a 50' throw. I have been told that the throw of a LED PAR does not compare to a "standard" PAR. Suggestions?
