I have to agree with Dave. Deffinitly mic the kick, snare, and hat. If you do put up the wall and sheilds, you might wanna mic more, depending on how much it'll dampen the sound. But i do agree with adding some mics to bring the drums up front a bit more. Good luck.

Hey everybody! Im new (clearly) so i'd like to say hello. Im a stagehand/sound technician from Ontario. I work at the local theatre as well as do freelance work and im currently looking for places to get my certifications so I can make my IATSE application look better! ;)

Im looking to get my Rigging certification. It said on the ETCP website that you need at least 30 points to take the test, and you get points by doing a certain amount of rigging work. any tips on how to go about getting these hours? I found a staging company near by that does rigging and was...
