In our theatre, the speakers have an older connection which is a hole in the middle, and a circle around it. Apparently you lock it into there. What connection is this?
This is coming from the maintenance staff who are in contact with the company we bought the rack from over the phone. As I said before, they are planning to run down and pick up the part and hopefully that will fix our problem. As you were saying about the auto-shutoff, could possibly leaving it...
We found the problem. Somebody put a projector screen leaning on the rack, blocking the intake fans, and then somebody turned on the lights through the pre-set cues built into the walls, which in turn overheated the machine and blew out the temperature control. That is what they told me, does...
Update:
The person who set it up was not able to fix it it seems like. I was not able to come in when he was working on it, but he just turned off the breaker for the whole lighting system. Any suggestions on what to tell him to check? Thanks guys.
It is an ETC rack. With about 70 dimmer modules inside. As soon as I turn on a cue from the console or the wall panel the system will power up and the fan will turn on with all lights on. However none of the stage lights turn on. I don't know much about the system, but the person who set it up...
Walked into the theatre today and attempted to power on lights, however nothing is turning on. I unplugged DMX into the console and plugged it back in, same with the wall connect and powered off and on the console. I then tried our built in stage panel that has preset cues, and still nothing was...
That's what we got, boundary mics. We just tested them again, they work amazing and are able to pickup sound from all the back of the stage. Best 1,000 dollars our theatre ever spent :) Thank you guys.
I ordered some floor microphones from BH photo from Shure. I didn't check the size and turns out they are conference table microphones, even though they were advertised for theatres. I plan to have them at the front of the stage for boosting actors without a body pack. I tested them and they...
Sorry for late response. I don't know what model the mixer is, but I'm pretty sure it's a Sony mixer, I'll check in a few hours. The microphone receiver is a Shure UC, it also gets lots of interference, possibly from phones?
