does anyone have any ideas of materials to be used to make an ornamental railing? I was thinking a combination of pvc and backer rod but would need something to stiffen the backer rod. This picture is way fancier than what I was planning but something like this.

Unfortunately, with the space I am working with lights and projections are not an option.

So I know most use left over light gels in order to make stained glass windows, but I am trying to do something a little more intricate and don't want to cut and piece together hundreds of pieces. With that said, what else have you used/tried? What worked and what didn't?Here is what I have...

Do you think using lights in it would make it look too much like a flashlight? I worry that it would lose the cake look when lit up. I’m torn on if it should be cut or to spend time fiddling around with it and have it be a waste.
