I've used pie pans (flat pan may also be a good option with more surface area), a pencil (to sketch it) and a x-acto knife or some sort of cutting device. Not quite as nice as getting a gobo cut though, if you've got the time and budget.

You didn't miss anything. There is no way to set it to 8 bit 22 channel that I can see. Norm is 16 bit, and Ext is who knows what, but it sure isn't 8 bit. I'm a tad stuck at this point - does anyone know where I can grab a 16 bit profile or how to easily build one?

If the only two differences are the fine pan and tilt wouldn't that mean nothing? The color and gobo wheels are what were causing trouble. Pan and tilt (not the fine controls) work fine right now!

I've always used the same, a 1/8" to RCA and it's worked perfectly fine for me. Is there a reason you're looking to run USB or FireWire to the board?
